A book containing information about any African or Latin American who helped begin the baseball league. It's very much like a baseball card except in story form without so many numbers.
Organization: The nonfiction included end notes and index. It is organized in chronological order starting with how the negro league began. Then, it continues with the lives of the players, the owners, the all-stars, Latin America, etc., this is a type of information book that the reader is able to pick and choose the information they need rather than have to read the entire book to look for it
Accuracy: The story provides quotes from actual players, as well as facts about each section of the league.
Style: The detail that stood out the most to me other than the realistic illustrations that added a different element to the story, were the way the chapter titles were written. For example, instead of Chapter 1, it is 1st Inning, which really adds to the baseball theme the entire book is centered on.
Design: The realistic illustrations that look like photographs along with the caption add are a great visual to each section it is next too.
