Rosa

An autobiography about Rosa Parks and her journey through gaining equal rights in transportation. The trials and tribulations that she experiences and the differences she makes for the African American race.

Design: The illustrations are visually appropriate to the story where it compliments in what she is doing throughout the story. The illustrations look very realistic with the shadowing and the textures of the purse the wood and other objects.

Style: The information was more like a story which would make it easier to follow and read for a child.

Organization: It is more like a timeline from where she began at home, entered the bus, was asked to move, was arrested, the reaction and how word spread throughout the town, MLK’s support, and finally the walk they took to fight for their rights.
