My Teacher is a Monster

As a student in Ms. Kirby's class Bobby has always viewed his teacher as a monster. As the story continues and he realizes that his teacher is trying to help, teach, and have fun with him, she begins to turn into a normal teacher. All the things he saw as negative things become more positive and realistic. 

Colors: The colors are very boy tones. The character of Ms. Kirby goes from green (like the Hulk) when he thinks she’s a monster and then slowly transforms into human colors when he begins to see her for who she really is.

Shapes: The shapes are very basic with triangles and circles that of a young boy may view the world. 

Character: Bobby is the main character who views his teacher, Mrs. Kirby, as a monster at the beginning after she disciplines him for throwing a paper airplane. As the story continues Bobby sees his teacher in a park and begins to realize she is a real person instead of only a teacher at all times. As his view of her changes so does her form from a green monster to an actual woman. Things she used to do also changed to more of misunderstandings such as the stomping (holding books in a rush) and the roaring (reading a book).
