Back in 1255 in an English Village, the language was spoken different along with the rest of the life.Twenty-two characters in a series of monologues, go through their daily lives, like Hugo who is forced to prove his manhood to his royal family, or Mogg who being taught to become more cunning. As the story continues a reader learns how though the social classes are very different each character deals with struggles in their own unique ways, showing that just because one is more fortunate doesn’t necessarily mean life is easier.
