With familiar characters from Babymouse, The Lunch Lady and characters such as that it is easy for kids to become excited with this book. They are from other famous graphic novels such as the Babymouse series and the Captain Underpants series.
They cover many themes, but the one hope students pay attention to most is that of the bullying. While the fun and colorful graphics shine a pretty light on the stories, there are many themes throughout the graphic novel, such as first love, embarrassment, and etc.
